In December 2022, my beloved hedgehog Nigel passed away from oral cancer. Nigel was truly extraordinary. He made me a 'hog-mom' and taught me so much in the five years we spent together. The impact he left on my life is permanent. With the help of my amazing therapist, we started making a pedestal to place his ashes so he can rest in his favorite sleep spot forever. She introduced me to clay work and taught me how best to go about it. We created something so beautiful for Nigel. Fast forward a year and my experience with clay work continues to grow. After making Nigel's pedestal, I started carving mandalas as a therapeutic hobby. What began as making trivets has expanded to now include plant saucers, plant stands, pots, bowls, coasters, and more. Thus, giving birth to GG’s Creations. I truly consider this small business to be something Nigel and I created together.
